Two-Day National Seminar on “Family Management in Sanskrit Literature” to be Held on 16–17 April 2026 at R.D. & D.J. College, Munger
Family is not merely a word; it is a profound and divine emotion. The very mention of this word evokes different feelings and memories in the hearts of individuals. Family is the foundation not only of human life but also of the lives of all living beings. While everyone may interpret the concept of family in their own way, its significance cannot be denied by anyone.
However, it is unfortunate that in the present age the concept and existence of the family are gradually declining and being devalued. The negative consequences of this decline are also clearly visible in society. In this era of technology and mechanization, to revive and re-establish the fragmented structure of the family, a two-day National Seminar is being organized in Hybrid Mode (Online & Offline).
This seminar is being jointly organized by the Department of Sanskrit, R.D. & D.J. College (established in 1898) and the Postgraduate Department of Sanskrit, Munger University, in the historic city of Munger, the sacred land of Rishyashringa and the Anga region of the great philanthropist Maharaja Karna, situated on the holy banks of the river Bhagirathi.
In this seminar, eminent scholars from across the country will deliberate on the concept and essence of the family as reflected in Sanskrit literature, and will guide us with their valuable insights and knowledge.
Therefore, all faculty members of various disciplines, research scholars, and students are cordially invited to participate in this knowledge-sharing event by contributing their presence and academic inputs. You are requested to ensure your participation by filling out the Google Form available at the registration link.
